School starting real soon. The thought of it makes me feel bored as it will be not long before exam begins and then ITP. Oh my!

I think i quite enjoy football match. I watched the game between Singapore and Vietnam and i swear it was nerve-wreaking. I completely ignored the presence of sokgin when she came to my house (oops!). And yes, Singapore fails to fight to the final. I thought that it might be a draw match again but who knows. On a second thought, it might not be that case too. I think i just support match played by Singapore. Hm... i really love my country?

If only...

t's been really long since i update even though its holiday! I spent most of my time with my mum (: And i got major breakout! Yucks, cant think of any reasons for that except for something to do with hormones? Hm... a dermatologist is what i need i guess. If that still persists for another week or so, i think i should find one.These past 2 weeks, i have been clearing my wardrobe; basically my entire room. Didnt realise that i have that much rubbish.

Clothes that NEVER stay neat in my wardrobe, this batch excludes those hanging on my wardrobe.

Hm... i done facial at FIL yesterday. They really have a great deal, first trial about 30 bucks. Then if you sign a package of 18 sessions, it only cost $900 w/o gst. That is so much cheaper than the one i sign earlier at new york. One session at new york is equivalent to 2 sessions at FIL. But in the end, i still didnt sign any package at FIL. Somehow, i feel that New York is still more profession. Hm.. i shall see the result on my face, few days later.

I had already in mind whats my resolution for 2009. A healthy skin is one of them!

Crazy day out

okgin and I went to BBDC today to register for our basic theory test. But sadly, she did not bring along her identification card thus she cant register. Then we travelled a long ride to town. Its 45 minutes on the red line. I can fully understand those who stayed at the north and travel a long trip to school. Unknowingly, i spent hundreds plus bucks today. I just simply brought a braclet, a dress, a spag and a top for my mum. That is all it! Hm...

I still need to shop! Clutches, heels....

Clueless

Less than a week of holiday and i'm broke! I have completely juiced up my pay. Hm... its okay, i will just enjoy these 3 weeks break for i will not be able to enjoy any after my semester break. I'll be suffering during that 7 weeks of attachment with a pathetic sum of pay. Urgh!

Luck

Have been slacking for the past few days and it really makes me feels lazy. I simply stayed up late every night, got up in the late morning and took an afternoon nap when i'm feeling tired. I feel like a pig that just eat and sleep. Hm.. i wanna to do something during this 3 weeks break and not just slacking my days through. A job i guess is what i want?

Pondering

So i did mention that i wanna to do something constructive within this 3 weeks of holiday yea? Hm.. let's see. I'm going to register for basic theory for driving, i wanna to be the 'interior designer' for my house. I feel like changing the design, layout and paint new coats of paint over it. Of course, if i wanna to do so, i will start off with my bedroom.

Hm.. okay. This isnt that fantastic. I just want a full length mirror and replace the position of my PC with a sort of a small area for relaxation cum study area too. It will be even fantastic if i can get rid of my old wardrobe and replace it with a walk-in wardrobe. Damn i should suggest it to my mum earlier, i already had that concept in mind years back.

As you know, i cant colour thus with the help of this software- tardar! (even though its still a poor coloring skills) That will be roughly what i want it to look like.

Anyway, i cant still make up my mind for the choice i had to choose. One is of better prospect ( but laid ahead for the year are all tough modules). The other not so better prospect ( the modules just need plain memorising). Agrh.. Can anyone tell me how should i work things out?

All worn-out

I'm finally back from tests!

Summary of all the tests? They are really tedious especially BMT and Econs. Killed millions of my brain cells on that. Anyway, i had to choose between 2 options for my course- quantity surveying & project management or property and facilities management? Dont ask for my interest- i had none in both of them! It took me about half an hour to write down my choice and i'm still isnt sure if that is what i want ( no, i should put it in a way if that it will benefits me!)

Oh my! My head is getting bigger. If i want to make changes to it, i can still amend it by monday morning.

Damn! On the surface, this week i should be mugging- PURELY MUGGING! However, i still cant resist the urge of online shopping. Bought lots of stuffs this week.

I'm going to fully utilise this 3 weeks of holidays. There are lots of stuffs i wanna to do! And i'm suffering from major breakouts and blemishes!

Blur

inished tutorial early today thus school ended 11pm for most of my class peeps! I then went to NUH with my mum to have her eye checkup- she complained of seeing black spots and blurish images. It was a hell long wait! What can i expect? Its a government hospital. My mum went to her eye test then we waited for an hour to see a doctor to have another check up then we waited for a while and her a reflection test, after that we waited for ages to see another doctor to have another check again! Conclusion for those test- She just have lao hua yan. The doctor said that our eyes are like a camera, we have a function to zoom into things but as ones gets older, this function become poorer. Thus, its normal to see blur images! A 4 whole hours for that! What she can do now is just to go to any optical shop to get her spectacle. What a wait that was...

Something hilarious to share too! After the last doctor gave my mum a note, i thought we could just leave like that. Yes, without paying a single cent. Ahaha... its just that the whole system in the hospital makes me confused. In the end, we did pay for the consultation fees of course (:

A short review of the past few days:

Sunday- i was working at taka but i met up with sokgin after work as she had the urge of eating steamboat at Bugis. The queue was long and we waited for quite some time to secure a seat.

Pre-destined

Sometimes i feel that certain things are predestined.

Take for example the course i am in right now. I'm totally clueless on what should i apply for after my Os. I did take into consideration to get into JC but eventually drop that idea. Unlike some, i fill in the 12 choices that i want to apply for but i cant get into any even with a L1R4 of 15. Right then, i was panic and desperate to get into any course thus i randomly select my 3 appeal choices. My first choice-DPFM, second choice-Nursing in Np and last choice i cant remember i think its a course in NYP? Sokgin thought that i would get into nursing and accompany her but who knows i get into the course i am at now!

And this sight! The construction of HDB flat, its facing directly opposite my house. Coincidence that might be what you think?

You might think that certain things are mere coincidence. But at times, on a second thought,why not think it another way- its just Fate. For me, i believe that it's my fate to get into this course, fate for me to be friends with you all, fate to chance upon the person i desire to take a look ( it's not just once!) etc.

School

2nd week of school and its over! Soon you will hear me complaining about studying for tests and etc. No knowledge has been gained at all so far-Havent been paying much attention in class for the past weeks though.

These 5 days of school really flies! However, i really hate my timetable. Reasons:

Monday- starts at 900

Tuesday- starts at 830

Wednesday- starts at 800

Thursday- starts at 230

Friday- starts at 800

And leasons do not end early! Furthermore, i kinda of not like the modules i'm taking this semester. Just hope that i could pull through this!

Yesterday was out with kailin. Yes, i skipped school; i know its a brand new semester but lesson starts at 230, who would have the mood to go to school at that timing? We met up at town. A FULFILLING day indeed! We ate baked rice at Swensens for lunch, macrons at Bakerzin for tea break, gourmet pies and iced latte at secret recipe for dinner. Satisfying! I realised something- there is nothing to shop during this season: its pre-fall season and the clothes are like....

It's just the typical us at the ladies (:

Fossil

School is reopening in 5 days time. Let see what have i done during this holidays-

First two weeks- i was resting at home ( had suffered a loss of millions of brain cells ahaha)

Third week- two days of work (thats it) just you think i was lazy...

Fourth and Fifth week- i worked 10 days straight and was only given a day rest on my birthday. hardcore right?

Sixth week- out with mum most of the times and i would be working tomorrow and saturday (yet again). And not forgetting friday and sunday would be out for shopping spree (:

I finally got my watch- i think i should put it in this way: i randomly select a watch cause i need one desperately. Without a watch, i would feel empty on my left hand and there are times where i looked at my wrist, only then i realised that i dont have anything on me.

Sweet 19th!

Turned nineteen on 3rd October, this brings me a step closer to the world of twenties. I cant believe time actually flies. So imagine when i'm in that world what would life be like for me? Work, marriage.. ? Life is really carefree at this stage, being a student, i dont have to worry about money, family matters (to an extent) etc... I realised that i take things for granted. Ok, i wont mention those stuffs here...

Thanks all those who wishes me on my birthday- the ancients, schoolmates, work colleagues, fairsians. Thanks for the gifts i receive too, i appreciate it a lot!

A short recap on what happened on that day...

So on the day, i was out with my mum and brother and we had lunch at JP. My mum wanted to get me a watch for my birthday but we couldnt find anything now over there. Then, i went out with sokgin and kailin. We just simply couldnt decide where to have our dinner, in the end, we randomly chose Swensen. Love the chilli fish pasta, its HOT!

We then went to cine to have fish therapy at Fabulous Ten. We were conned by what we saw on TV. The fishes appear to be small but when we went there they were at least 1-2 inches big. Brave sokgin placed her foots in first and then followed by kailin but kailin pulled her legs away in no time. Last but not least, i placed my stinky foots in. Same reaction as kailin- DISGUSTING! So sokgin and I were the only one who survived through the 10 minutes session.

Last stop, we went to Paragon- Bakerzin. Kailin and I ordered the same desert- Sweet Pleasure. And indeed it was really SWEET. We had to glup down cups of water and i couldnt even managed to finish that off. I dont have such a sweet tooth.

Ah Gong's birthday

Just attended my grandfather's birthday celebration. My mum mentioned that it's a NEED to do so, as by celebrating his 79th-80th birthday, this will prolong his lifespan? I never heard of this before! However, i would choose to believe in this myth. Who do not wish for their kins to stay in this world? Everyone does!

Weather condition are torturing, its freaking hot! I'm perspiring profusely even when i tied my hair in the loo, i cant believe it! And it's even worst at my grandparent's place, as the house is facing the sun ( xi zhao thats what they said). I do really hope for a cooler weather.

A mini-gathering is really great. Relatives sitting together enjoying the succulent food and red wine (: It feel really warmth- inside my heart and of course my body too ( ahaha!)

Seatbelt

I was just browsing through the newspaper today and i saw this article:

They should have place this seat belt sooner, at least 5 years ago. I had a really embarrassing experience on that. Took a bus to school (holding school at commonwealth). Actually, i wasnt seated on the center of the seat, i had no idea what make me change my seat ( i was only a bus stop away from my destination). Suddenly, the bus braked and 'thud'- i fell right down on my face. Could you imagine how embarrass i was, i didnt even pick up my water bottle that was on the floor.

Thinking about this, it really give me a good laugh. I should have place my bag on my lap instead of carrying it on my back and sat down. What an experience that was!

Bee San's birthday

Yesterday was Bee San's birthday celebration. Met up with shiyun and valerie at Chua Chu Kang MRT. Speaking about this, shiyun and I were unaware that there is a link between MRT and LRT station. Thus we wasted our fare, but we did ask this guy and he told us to tap our card out. Which is.. WRONG!

Oh well, Shiyun, Valerie, Crystal and I were the early birds, we were the first group to arrive there. Reminiscence the days of cartoons? Thats what we did.

Cakes

havent been updating this blog even though i spend most of my time at home. I'm bored staying at home!

Saturday, my family went to Sakura ( yes, yet again!) for the celebration of my parents 21st wedding anniversary on sunday. Food really sucks, fillet was char, veggie was too salty, there arent seems to be any food that appeal to me except...

I want to get a camera real soon, i hate the blur images that are taken with my handphone. However, what i really desire for is a hair cut, frizzes sticking out and i really hate my flat hair! But i could only have one the earliest during november cause my fringe is still so short after i had a haircut at REDS on March.

Marina

Finally! Exams and tests are all over. I'm really bushed mugging and it indicates from my bad skin condition- pimples outbreak, eye bags! yucks!

Studying or Memorising? Peirong memorise than study for theory. So is that the right way to do that? Some people study, i do envy them as memorising kills million of my brain cells. I dont think i will do as well for this semester, but at least i do 'study' for it. It's getting tougher and tougher, we were even tested stuffs we were not taught. So how can they expect us to know it?

Enough of those grumblings. Went out with Shiyun, zoe and beesan today at marina square. We wanted to go meritius mandarin to have the lunch buffet but zoe's friend said that lunch buffet doesnt taste succulent, never mind, our next trip there is to have dinner buffet (:

Get-together

I finally got hold of my cousin's wedding photos!

Basically, my parents left in the midst of the dinner, so no chance of seeing them on the picture.

For us as cousins, we only met once a year which is on CNY. And we hardly take any photo, things arent just like the past where we met that often. Its the time of cherish, i can say!

Just a step

It just foolish to stay on the same spot. We have to move on, in order to keep things going. But sometime, it's just hard to let it go... If only i took that extra step, i could just know how it may ends up. Thats just a random thought of mine...

Studies

It's been quite some time since i updated this blog. Tests and exams are nearing and i still cant concentrate on my notes. There are lots of stuffs to study!

Sometime i'm thinking, why am i studying so hard for? Is it for my parents or is it for myself? I think people studying for the sake of paving their career, don't you think so?

Thoughts

It's just the beginning of holidays and i feel really bored. Yes, bored staying at home. Cant believe right? I love staying at home when i was young, just watching TV programmes are enough to pass a day. Thats me! However, right now, i rather work than stay at home, it just make my day pass faster.

Right decision? Somehow i feel that maturity is an important characteristic that a guy should possesses. That is enough to charm a girl. Sweet talks, i dont really buy that. What I believe is that actions speak louder than words, prove it by actions rather than sweet talking.

I'm going to be so dead for those papers esp; accounts and finance. I'm basically not a 'maths' person! I can even calculate a sum wrongly by adding them up. That sucks and this exam cost me 50%. I just wanna to pass that. Oh well, tests and exams aren't that easy after all. I cant wait for those to be over.

Tests and exams in 3 weeks time. I feel the pressure now!

Went our with sokgin yesterday. First stop was to Far East Plaza. Nothing caught my eyes over there and thus both of us went empty handed. But we headed off to marina square!

There is a very creative shop over there at level 2. It's a shop where it sells handmade products by polytechnic students. Accessories such a earring, braclet, necklace, ring, clothing, key chain and even laptop and camera pouches. There is bound to be something that will catch your fancy! I seemed like advertising for the shop, anyway,I bought a ring over there and its rather cheap- only $15. I bought a top from topshop too but sadly i have forgotten that there isnt forever 21 store over there, if not i could buy more clothings! And peirong finally bought a pair of flats. Yes, my shoe cabinet is filled with heels and slippers, there arent even a single pair of flat. Finally, something to pamper my skin would be a sleeping mask. A gel like mask to leave it on your face when you goes to sleep. Pretty cool!

I actually wanted to get this kimono from ZARA. However, the length of the clothing makes me bewildered. It's too short to be a dress as claimed by sokgin and too long to be a top! If only the length of this clothing is a bit longer... I wanna to get this!

Snowy

I have a phobia of dogs. This started because of an incident. I was chased by a dog when i was young. I kept running round the circle and that idiotic owner didnt capture his dog back but stood there to watch. How responsible or should i say nice of him.

On 8 june, my family welcomed a puppy (Snowy) which was given by my mum's friend sister. I have to admit that she was adorable. But i just cant seem to get out of my phobia. I'm afraid of whether she bite and i cant stand her licking my leg. It totally gross me out! The puppy was fascinated by every members of my family and she went exploring us. When she came to me, i screamed for help. I knew that it was bad of me to behave in this manner but i cant help it!

Snowy stayed with us for 2 days and we returned her back to her owner.
Reason 1: She poos everywhere as she is no toilet train
Reason 2: She cries in the night and it seems like ghost wailing
Reason 3: I restricted my movements because of her!

2 hours before she returned today, she fell off from the chair to the ground. It resulted to a bone fracture and she is limping around. How are we suppose to answer to the owner? Anyway, the owner brought her to have operation and that medical fees came up to $1000. WTH! WE bought necessities for her and it cost $300. In just 2 days, we spent $1300.

Lesson learnt: My family cant rear pets. WE cant handle it well!
And I'm not only afraid of dogs but all other animals. Dont you think that you are taking care of a living things and their precious little life lies on how you treated them! I cant afford to kill them just because of reckless or negligence.
