Island Cafe

I always have trouble finding a place to dine in town. Perhaps its because there's too many choice but there's really no so called favorite restaurant of me to dine at. If I really have to choose, I would pick Alfresco Gusto at Ion orchard. Adore the outdoor dining area and the risotto tastes rather good in my opinion. Anyway, I was brought to Island Cafe @ Tangs. I didn't knew an eating area exist in Tangs. But anyway, Tangs has recently just finished renovation. They actually bring in more brands now compared to the previous!

Here's where I was talking about. Quite a while ago as you can see I was still holding on to my E72. And I was brace-less!

Crayfish Laksa. The cafe provides apron for diners so as not to stain their clothes. How thoughtful right? But nope, I didn't have this.

My Crayfish & Crab Meat Fried Rice. Look at how generous with their portion. And I completed all of that on my own! My appetite is seriously actually not that small.

This brain-like desert is called Sago Melaka. Pardon me for being disgusting, but it really does look like one right?

Island Cafe caters a variety of Asian cuisine and they are pretty affordable. The main that we ordered merely costs $18 each and the desert just $5. But they closes really early, while we were dining there, the waitress actually came up to us and ask us if we would like to have our last order at 830pm?

As to the reason why I don't really like to smile is that it looks Awkward and Un-natural! Can't wait to have those braces of mine removed.
