But the restaurant was still pretty as packed
These few tables were occupied shortly
Italian bread selection
Prawn linguine
Tagliatelle bolognese
Creamy panna cotta
Surely one ought to try their pasta when dining on a Italian restaurant? Further, they handmade their pastas from scratch! For their pastas, basically they serve them in 2 sizes; the appetizer size or the main course size. That's was what I found when I researched on before I stepped into the restaurant. But when I was dining in there, the waitress actually told me their 2 sizes are namely; a person serving of 2 persons servings. Oh well. Anyway, the pasta portion was kind of small for the appetizer/ a serving size. That means you can order more food, and try a greater varieties of food. That is great too! Total bill came up to around $58, which is pretty affordable. Personally I love the panna cotta, its really awesome! Pastas dishes were good too. Definitely would head back and try other dishes. And I caught an eye of the wild truffle risotto. That would be my pick for my next visit!
After our lunch, we went walking, shopping around the mall. But we were bored of it in a while. Knowing that I have yet to even step into RWS, Jose suggested we should head there to walk around, chill and settled our dinner over there. Ya, I'm a noob! There's actually quite a few places I have yet to went to in Singapore. Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, USS, RWS, Sea Aquarium, Night Safari, River Safari. Aiya! I think you should get how noob I am now or would even question if I'm a Singaporean? Do I want to head over to all these tourist attractions? Sure I do! But with the right company of course.
Anyway, here are a few snapshots I captured:
The above shot doesn't look like Singapore right? Perhaps, it due to the bare tree or the hotel Michael at the background.
And here's my tourist shot. Ps, its a dress-down Monday for me. My hair looked like I just rolled out of my bed (which I really did!) haha
And another tourist not-so-ready shot of me
A friendly passer-by for which we spotted while we were having our dinner
So did I went to USS? Of course not! It was already near 5pm when I got there. I don't think I'm gonna have enough time to try those rides. Plus my outfits? It surely doesn't look very right! And thus after our dinner, we headed over to Tanjong beach club. And guess what? While we were at there at around 830, it was closed. Maybe it doesn't even operate on a Monday. Thus we ended up sitting on a pavilion. I know right? How romantic it is for 2 girls to sit there, by the beach, with very bad dark lightings, nearly deserted area. It would be scary if we didn't play our own music. Actually, come to think of it, having a mini retreat; lets suppose 2 days 1 night staycation at RWS or Sentosa would be great. I would spend my first day just lazing around in the hotel and would ignite the child/tourist within me on the second day to visit on those tourist attractions. Hm, not bad a plan right? It would be great if someone would have planned it for me! Haha, I'm just wishing too much.
It was a long day for us. Halfway though in RW, we were tired. Age is definitely catching on us! It doesn't matter if one is fits or not. Ya, I have not been running ever since my last marathon which was in February or something. I can't run that much! Firstly, its giving my knee problem (mild case actually, I could do a short run or maybe just wear my knee guard). However one thing for sure, running makes me lose weight. Not at the right places of course. Ok la, actually not really. The last time I weight myself which was maybe beginning of July, I think I weigh 44kg! Seriously, what have I been doing! So not healthy, i don't even think I weigh that less during my sec 4! But I think I have those weights gained back by now. I have been supper-ing so so much! And its like an everyday thing. Tsk. Not healthy. I have to learn to cut down on that. And lastly, I'm lazy to exercise, I have to admit. Haha. But I do miss the feeling of sweating it all out. Hmm. I will give further thoughts on that if I should revert back to my 'healthy' lifestyle.
