My birthday; Third October

A lil late but I'm really thankful for all the wishes I received from my friends, cousins, basically my love ones. When the clock strikes twelve, I was actually anticipating to receive a call. However, there's none. No doubt, I was a little disappointed.

Anyway, I'm thankful for those who are part of my life. I know I am someone who appear to be 'dao', nonchalant in another word but I'm glad for those who stay in. Notice the heading of my blog 'If only time could come to a standstill'. Well, I'm pretty much stingy inexpressive with my words and there are MANY times that I do REGRET not saying out how I feel and what I want. Guess there's still the introvert within me. And one thing for sure, I can't accept rejection. Haha, ya! My skin is that thin! Thus, I wouldn't take an initiative to date someone out unless I'm sure he/she is free.

So yup, I'm thankful for the wishes, thankful for the love, thankful for the weather on my birthday itself as it appears to be gloomy. Felt really blessed. If only everyday could be my birthday. Haha, nah. Don't really adore to be the center of attention unless its with my close ones.

Decided to go simple with just a basic tube maxi but then, guess I won't wear it again unless I'm on a beach vacation.

Birthday dinner at Privé Grill

Backtracked this post to a few weeks earlier. I made a reservation at Privé Grill located at Keppel bay to celebrate the dude birthday. We were rather late for our dinner as we couldn't get a cab in the city even through attempts were made to book a cab. Nowadays, doesn't it appears that the cabbies are choosing their customers rather than we customers are choosing them? So many cabbies refused to pick us up on that day as they claim its 'off their area' or they are changing shift at around 7+pm?

The total bill for the night, we ordered half a bottle of white wine and a pint of erdinger too. I think its pretty worthwhile as the quality of food and the ambiance are awesome. And the staffs are equip with fantastic services too!

Pardon me for spamming my selfies as I hardly dress up this much. Plus I hardly wear heels as most of my friends would made a complain to me on that if I would to wear that out with them. Now, I'm trying to train myself walking on them as I would need them when I step into the workforce. Definitely a good work out for us girls as it takes merely 10 minutes of brisk-walking to make me perspire! But stepping on heels do help us make/improve our posture to look nicer, thus more confident. Thats the reason why they said we girls 爱美不要命. Haha, true fact.

M hotel

Took quite a while to have this post posted. I'm just so lazy to plug in the USB cable to my lappy and get those colours adjusted. I'm really a Lazy person! It actually takes me quite a while to get things done, it always towards the last minute till I feel the anxiousness that I need to have it settled. Just like sitting for exam. I'm not gonna stereotype other students but talking about me myself. Just a few days before my exam, I felt like there's a need for me to be transform to a superwoman. I had to use 3 or 4 days to study the whole module which took like 4 months for the lecturer to finish it through? Till then was the only time I touched my notes other than working on my assignments. Then something stroke me; Its necessary for me to get a textbook for my lecture notes are totally useless! Gawd! I didn't got the book in the end as I was already having my study break and I'm Lazy to head down to school ( its just 20 minutes away from my place) to get the book for which I'm gonna touch for 3 days? And it cost nearly 80 bucks for that? It just not worth it. I'm hoping I could just clear my modules. Papers weren't easy. Couldn't complain too much as I have myself to blame. I didn't have time to complete the whole chapters.

Anyway, enough of ramblings about school. Dated a month back post. Back then, I was kind of stressed out with my piles of assignments and would wanna get a break after I had those completed and thus, I had a short staycation at M hotel.

A free room upgrade from Delux to Club Delux. Not of any differences to me as there's no extra privileges you would receive. They just gave me a higher floor, thats all.

Desert wine. My first and would be my last time trying. Its really far too sweet for my liking.

This is totally random, but I would really love to have a small couch in my room! Haha

As a four star rated hotel, I think overall its not too bad. Staffs were rather friendly, we wanted to borrow the wine opener from the restaurant initially but a staff offered to make his way to our room and helped us with it. Which is awesome! Food wise, we missed out the breakfast as we overslept. Hm, but its okay. The variety of food wasn't that much of a selection to begin with. Further, someone's dreamt of us having burgers together! Haha, thus we had our lunch settled at Mac! We made it a dream come true yea! Haha. Simply heart mini retreat like this. Not forgetting my favoritest companion too- Just so Perfect! :)

Again another backdated post. A getaway from the hassles and not wanting to travel, a staycation could be a wise choice. Love how the hotel is located in the middle of the city, surrounded by greenery and the stillness of nature.

Overall, its a pleasant stay. During my stay at HFC, there isn't a thing that I can pintpoint which I dislike. The staffs are friendly and the room is cosy. Personally, I love the high ceilings of the room which makes it stands out from other hotels. But most importantly, my companion is great which makes everything perfect to me. Heart the short quality time spent! ♥
