Mata Thai

Headed to the IT Fair yesterday to accompany sokgin to get her lappy. I still prefer the one at suntec city though I only went to the fair twice. I don't think I'm someone who would ever get any gadgets from the fair. Its kind of hassle to squeeze through the crowds. Whats's more, you got to carry bulky items. Anyway, I'm glad that Sokgin got her new lappy.

After which, we headed over to Bishan area to have dinner. Thank gawd for the circle line. Traveling time from Bishan to my place is merely 20 minutes. Julia recommended this Thai restaurant and gave high raving about the food and price thus we decided to give it a try.

Tom Yum Soup

Stir-fried Kangkong with chili

Calamari

That's not all

Tom Yam fried rice

Phad Thai

Prawn Omlette

Mango Sticky Rice and Red Ruby

The total value of our dinner is less than $60 for 4 paxes. Thats a stash isn't it? I'm not one who really fancy Thai food as I had bad experiences when I first tried it. But I think Mata Thai is a great choice for one who wants a cheap yet Good tasting Authentic Thai food.

Starting from last week, I've been stuck in school for quite a few more hours than my usual. And thats all due to assignments! Right now, I can't wait to clear all my assignments and take a break from school. A breather is what I need. Come to think of it, I'm seeking trouble for myself by adding an extra module to my course. That means I have to put in an additional effort to do assignment, study. Agrh! Just why was I so impulsive then?
