I've been heading out so much ever since my exam were over. On monday, i met up with Shiyun in school to discuss our FYP. Its just merely a short discussion. Our main motive was actually to catch a movie. I came to realise something, its not easy to get your ideal seat in GV recently. Each time i went to the ticket office, they will either tell me left with first row or first few front rows. Eww.. Thus, shiyun and I bought our tickets at AXS machine in school. Just when we were travelling to Vivo, Weixiong told us that he wanted to join us. Immediately, i knew that the possibility of him sitting near us is in fact zero. Sure enough, when we enquired of the seat for that particular timeslot, it left with the first two front rows and weixiong had to sit on the extreme end to our seat.

Time Traveller's Wife

Its a pretty great movie with touches of moving scene. I guess everyone would yearn to have rare genetic anomaly which allows us to live our life on a shifting timeline but having skipping back and forth without control is simply torturing. Its just like when someone went up to a fortune teller and asked of the lifespan of their own, what will happen when he said you will die in young age. That sure dampen your mood in everything, worst till, even to an extent that you give up hope in life! The truth here is how much could you believe in fate? Or let's put it in a way, what he had mentioned is true, isnt it tormenting to know? Thats just some thought of mine.

After our movie, we went to have our lunch at Mussel Guys.

And thanks for the unglam photo urh? Thats the MUSSEL guy. He alone ate nearly half a kg of mussels as there are a promotion going on. If you got yourself 300g of mussels, they will give you a complimentary 200g mussels.

And thanks Shiyun for the dinner treat (: Remember to get my souvenir when you are in Chiang Mai!

On Tuesday, i met up with Kailin to catch Proposal. I know this show is up on the movie some times ago, but i had exam at the time thus this got dragged till now. And again, first few front rows seats left thus we bought our tickets for the later timing. I'm having a rather tight budget this week, thus we had our lunch at Superdog. Its the first visit for the both of us and we felt that their grilled fish burger is really good! Pretty interesting happened when we went out of the restaurant. That surly do kept kailin ( and me!) felt amusing.

Proposal is the best movie i caught this month but the ending was -_-"! You get it? Followed by Time Traveller's Wife, I love you, Beth Copper and lastly, First Year.

There are lots of movies coming up soon and that would kept both of us busy (: Looking forward for all those movies!

On Wedensday, Julia and I went to Mrs Ong's House. I just realised that i'm not really that good in figure. You cant ask me which bus to go to her house, what her block is or even what is her unit number. I could only direct you to the bus interchange for which to queue for that bus, know which stop to stop and how to make the way to her unit. Hm... I committed lots of 'sins' on that day. The sins i'm referring to is deep fried food. We settle for nuggets, sotong balls, vegetable crackers, chicken wings, sushi... I'm really bloated and its damn heaty! Damn! At first, Julia want to take photo of Mrs Ong's daughter but she's afraid of camera, thus no photo on that day. I wouldnt want to be a teacher anymore. I was considering of that occupation in the past but that job is too tough for me to accept. I havent mark merely a class and i got really tired and restless of it. How could i even teach then?

I'm feeling really tired now and i havent even start on my FYP yet which i have to submit some to my lecturer. I guessed i would just do that tonight.

Rendezous

I woke up real early today at 9am. So the plan was to meet up with jerry, joffre and sokgin for a cycling trip at Ubin. In the end, we shifted our plan when we were on the train. City hall for a brunch buffet and a movie treat. Buffet at Kuishin Bo is pretty good if you like japanese, raw food and stuffs. I didnt eat alot of food, but was gorged full eating pastries. Thats my all time favourite whenever i head to a restaurant (: It also made me realised how big a guy appetite is. I think what joffre had eaten is equivalent to twice the amount i ate.

After which, we went to Marina Square. We wanted to catch Proposal at first ( i was surprised when they mentioned that) but because we wouldnt want to be seated at the first row like what we did when we caught GI Joe- It's simply caused us neck ache.

So, we caught this. Hilarious 1day storyline movie! But i guess, Proposal would be much better, i'm saving this movie for kailin!

After the whole movie, when sokgin and I were on our way to he ladies, we were approached by some guy from Prudential. It's the same insurance company that approached me last year in August. They called me on the same month this year to ask me if i am interested in saving policies. If i could remember clearly, you have to put aside at least 50 bucks a month and the investment would last for 20 years and they would award you with additional __k. Couldnt remember the figure! Guys, would you be interested in that?

I just walked past that guy when he went up to me. I wasnt being mean, its just that i'm feeling really cold. Sokgin, however, promised him that we will be back for the survey. Nice right? As promise, we went back to him. I just find it hilarious when jerry went up to him and told him that we were rushing for time. Dont ask me why, i have no idea why i feeling that. Thus, he just threw sokgin a survey without promoting what he wants.

Hm... perhaps a cycling trip to ubin again... ( even though i still cant cycle after having coached by so many peeps)

There's something common for the 4 of us- All our parents enjoy watching taiwan long series drama- 愛 and 意难忘. Thats the only things that drive them gaga i guess (:

Serenity

Okay, i'm not going to blog till my exams are over. 3 more to go and i've cleared 2 tests. The upcoming tuesday exam is maintenance of building service. This is an exam which i have to score 100 to achieve an A. You think its possible? My GPA for this semester is gonna drop for sure. Damn!

All of a Sudden

9th August, National Day. It's a day worth for us commemorating for the 44 years long history. Through wars and everything, Singapore came so far and remains as strong.

Just yesterday, i heard a news and i was flabbergasted by it. It just taken me aback. And it's far to sudden for most of us to accept the truth. Through my secondary school life, i would say that our friendship got closer when we were in our last year. I do enjoy the time with you, you are a bubbly girl with smile brought to your face most of the time. Flipping through my photo album, i kept the days we shared in my heart...

Of Work and Play

This week has been a pretty hectic week for me. Its all filled with PLAY and WORK.

Let's skipped all the way to that wedensday. I went out with kailin and we headed to Town (yet again!). But, this time round, we combed the area of ION as detailed as compared to the previous. So after my GEMS lesson, i met her up at Wheelock as she was doing her brows and we spent nearly half an hour before settling at ASIAN KITCHEN.

This was what we had for our lunch:

Kailin had her "Meesua" and i had my minced pork rice in that bamboo container.



Our 2 Side Dishes- Chicken with green apple (something like sweet and sour pork) & Youtiao ( as they specify Asian crispy fries)

And towards our favourite place for cam-whoring!

We headed over to Orchard Central after that! If you went round roaming at ION, your first impression of Central would be- Why is it so small? And we met a bizarre experience. A woman of about age 50 rushed from our back to our front chasing a couple. And her first word was actually "Bastard". We are completely clueless what made her so fiery! The scary part was that she actually chased them around and we were taken aback by this. Her actions only stopped what the couple shaked her off. Whew!

So let's move on to Thursday! I was doing my Land Planning Project. My group has been given a plot of land at Jalan Jurong Kechil and we have to propose on what could be build on this area. Our proposal for this land was to build condominiums.

Facilities would include: Tanning Deck, Lap Pool, Jacuzzi, Play Pool, Jogging Trail, BBQ Pit.
There are total 12 blocks of condo of each 8-storey high.
I love the drawing i drew, even though i spent quite a while on that.



Development- i know it looks a bit kidish over here.

Before you think that why are there only a pathetic amount of facilities, you are WRONG!
There will be 2 blocks of building of 5-storey high each at the side of Guard House.
On the right: The 5th floor will be an open-concept Tennis Court, 4th floor gym, 3rd floor game room, 2nd floor function room and 1st floor squash court and table tennis room.
On the left: 5th floor, open-concept playground, 4th floor spa area, 3rd floor supermarket, 2nd floor band room and 1st floor restaurant.

Wouldnt it be cool to have blocks of facilities and shops near your home? (:

At night, i headed over to Holland Village to attend a small gathering with kris, stella, julia and kailin!

At Essential Brew! It's a perfect place for chats!

Then we went to our next location- Starbuck!

To sum up, it's have been an awesome night! Its been like nearly 3 years since we met.

And on Friday, its our class gathering. We went to catch a movie at Marina Square. But before than, we have a big gap of hours. So zoe and I went to Shiyun's house.

This girl is really funny. Just when zoe and I are thinking that she might play for us a piece, she told us she was just practising her 'fingering' on guitar. Dont get the wrong idea!



We just spent our time playing UNO cards. Its a pretty nice game to play with if you are bored. Okay, actually if you played once in a while, its not too bad. And i'm the biggest losser in this game.

At Marina Square, we catched:

We catched UP in 3D.

I appreciate the effort that the movie makers had put in. Its more than a year work. The first part was quite moving. And speaking of the 3-D glasses, its so loose and i have to keep on pushing the glasses out. It's really annoying! An adventure movie, you should catch it if you are free!

After our dinner, we went to the rooftop at Esplande.

They have a pretty nice view. Photo doesnt do justice by the way. Tall building, nice cooling breeze and music from performance at the first level.
